About This Role

Provide strategic support to the sales team by managing quote activities, developing broker relationships, and preparing compelling proposals. This role involves diving into underwriting expertise for life and long-term disability cases, ensuring smooth implementation post-sale, and staying compliant with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage quote activities and develop relationships with broker partners to contribute to sales goals
  • Receive and manage RFPs, prepare compelling proposals, and ensure timely responses
  • Process life and long-term disability cases, including underwriting and quoting premium rates
  • Coordinate the installation process with various stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and accurate paperwork
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance with State Insurance Department regulations

Requirements

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and various software systems
  • Excellent typing, spelling, and grammar skills
  • Ability to learn and grow within the insurance industry
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Irvine, CA
