Provide strategic support to the sales team by managing quote activities, developing broker relationships, and preparing compelling proposals. This role involves diving into underwriting expertise for life and long-term disability cases, ensuring smooth implementation post-sale, and staying compliant with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage quote activities and develop relationships with broker partners to contribute to sales goals
- Receive and manage RFPs, prepare compelling proposals, and ensure timely responses
- Process life and long-term disability cases, including underwriting and quoting premium rates
- Coordinate the installation process with various stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and accurate paperwork
- Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance with State Insurance Department regulations
Requirements
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and various software systems
- Excellent typing, spelling, and grammar skills
- Ability to learn and grow within the insurance industry
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Irvine, CA
