This role involves guiding customers through the home buying process, from initial conversation to closing, ensuring a personalized experience. The consultant will drive home sales with a consultative approach, building relationships and achieving sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full home buying journey from first contact through closing
- Guide customers through home selection, customization, financing coordination, and purchase decisions
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and revenue goals
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects and effectively move leads through the sales process
- Conduct needs assessments to understand customer preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget
- Provide professional tours of home displays and explain features, options, and value
- Educate customers on the home buying process, financing pathways, and available products
- Generate new business through lead follow-up, referrals, community engagement, and networking
- Maintain accurate, timely, and secure documentation of all customer interactions
- Assist customers with finance applications and coordinate with approved vendors
Requirements
- Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening
- Ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities simultaneously
- Strong organizational and follow-up discipline
- Comfort discussing financing and purchase processes
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Successful background check and drug screening
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Sales experience preferred; training provided for strong candidates. Experience in finance, real estate, or construction is a plus.
