This 16-week in-person Sales Fellowship trains and up-skills candidates passionate about sales in technology, providing a pathway into a Sales Development Representative career at Tenstreet. Fellows will gain hands-on training and be considered for a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for new business prospects primarily through cold calling via telephone
- Prospect, research, and identify new leads using online and industry-specific searches
- Move prospects through the top of the sales funnel by setting appointments with the sales team
- Check in with and reschedule demos for prospects who missed their scheduled times
- Identify key decision makers within prospects
- Update Tenstreet’s sales tools (Sugar CRM, SalesLoft) with up-to-date information
- Coordinate with the Sales team to develop and grow the sales pipeline
- Hone selling skills to become an exceptional Sales Development Representative
- Uncover ways Tenstreet might improve processes or products to add value to clients
Requirements
- Strong desire to be a Sales Development Representative
- Self-starter who gets things done
- Not afraid of cold-calling potential clients
- Exceptional phone and writing skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and confidence
- Inspired by great products and want to work with a product you can believe in
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a productive team member
