This Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth within the Employee Benefits department by developing and expanding new and existing client accounts, while also managing client relationships and cross-selling RCM&D's products and services.
Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry
- Research and analyze sales options
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
- Research and recommend new business opportunities, including cross-selling within RCM&D
- Work with divisions to sell all products, solutions, and services offered by RCM&D
- Remain current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
- Understand clients’ needs to ensure satisfaction and identify cross-selling opportunities
Requirements
- 2-7 years of Sales experience in another industry (if no prior Insurance experience)
- 2-5 years of experience in an underwriting, risk control, claims, audit, or territory representative role (if Insurance industry experience but not with a broker)
- 1-3 years of experience working in a sales position (if Insurance industry experience with a broker)
- Strong understanding of how individual results impact company success
- Ability to understand clients' needs
Qualifications
- 2-7 years of sales experience (non-insurance) or 2-5 years in insurance (non-broker) or 1-3 years in insurance sales (broker)
Nice to Have
- Natural network in the Maryland / D.C. / PA / Virginia area
- Sales experience in Healthcare, Education, Real Estate, Construction, Non-Profit, Manufacturing, and Professional Services industries
