Sales Desk Assistant (Retirement)

About This Role

This role will support Transamerica's internal and external sales efforts across all product lines, working in a team environment to service and support financial partners and ensure efficient sales operations.

Responsibilities

• Work productively with various departments and sales teams to service and support Transamerica financial partners
• Assist in the fulfillment of marketing materials, sales supplies, and mailing campaigns
• Provide Pre/Post-Sale business resolution and follow-up with the wholesaling team
• Provide Pre-sale licensing, agent appointment approvals, and NAIC Suitability training
• Facilitate timely divisional/channel sales and activity reporting
• Assist Internal and External Wholesalers with updating and maintaining information in Salesforce
• Monitor and organize sales supply inventory and proactively assess timely replacement of materials
• Assist Internal Wholesaler to create, assemble, and ship hypothetical/illustrations to representatives
• Provide Concierge Service, collecting information and completing sales applications/paperwork for partner firm's advisers

Requirements

• High School education or GED equivalent
• Willingness to obtain Series 6/63 Securities Licenses within 6 months of hire
• Willingness to obtain resident state Life Insurance License within 6 months of hire
• Resourceful and well organized
• Ability to participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

Qualifications

• High School education or GED equivalent required

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in financial services industry
• Computer application software knowledge (e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel)
