Rural Carrier Associate

About This Role

Serve as a Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) in Lexington County, responsible for casing, delivering, and collecting mail along a designated rural route, providing essential postal services to customers using a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Case, deliver, and collect mail along a prescribed rural route using a vehicle
• Provide customers on the route with a variety of services
• Sort mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route
• Receive and sign for accountable mail
• Load mail in vehicle
• Provide mail security at all times
• Follow established safe work methods and procedures
• Perform duties physically demanding of moderate to heavy lifting, carrying, prolonged standing, reaching, and walking

Requirements

• Valid state driver's license
• Safe driving record
• At least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger in the U.S. or its possessions/territories or U.S. military installations worldwide
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather elements
• Ability to deliver from the right hand side of the vehicle
