Rover (Bank Teller)

About This Role

Serve as a Rover (Bank Teller) providing essential customer service and transaction support across various branches of Southwest Missouri Bank. This role involves assisting customers, ensuring accurate transactions, and identifying sales opportunities to contribute to the bank's mission.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service across various locations
• Assist customers with teller transactions and banking inquiries
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of bank products and services
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and make thoughtful referrals
• Create positive customer experiences and foster lasting relationships
• Balance teller drawer daily and comply with all teller standards and bank procedures
• Keep cash secure to maintain a high level of security
• Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in training and utilize bank resources to strengthen job knowledge
• Cross-train to cover other areas and broaden understanding of overall banking services

• Neat, professional appearance
• Reliable work ethic
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
• Cash handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry level, cash handling experience is required, previous banking experience preferred

Nice to Have

• Previous banking experience
• Familiarity with 10-Key Adding Machine
• Familiarity with Jack Henry
