The Road Supervisor, Paratransit will provide leadership and day-to-day oversight for field operations, ensuring efficient service, compliance with safety standards, and fostering a positive work environment for operators. This role involves actively facilitating communications and responding to various operational issues.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day activities of operators to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements
- Provide support, advice, and guidance to operators on issues such as customer complaints and safety
- Monitor on-time performance of the service
- Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner
- Supervise compliance with company policies and processes, addressing any breaches with the Operations Manager
- Collect and audit employee Driver Vehicle Inspection reports (DVIs)
- Evaluate the performance of all direct-report personnel according to company policy
- Administer appropriate employee discipline as necessary
Requirements
- Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement
- Open availability and flexible schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Operations Management with 3 years in transit industry preferred; college education can be substituted for up to 2 years required work experience
Nice to Have
- Experience in public or private alternative transportation demand management (TDM)
- Knowledge of DMV policies and procedures
- 5+ years of experience in Operations Management
- 3 years in transit industry experience
