RN Manager, Clinical Research Operations

About This Role

Provide leadership and management to nursing and ancillary personnel within a centralized clinical research area, ensuring efficient delivery of patient/participant care and research services. Manage all clinical and research functions, ensuring compliance with administrative, regulatory, and clinical policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the operations and delivery of research services within budgetary, staffing, and regulatory guidelines, following protocol procedures
• Ensure personnel demonstrate quality standards of research integrity, patient/participant care, and participant satisfaction
• Manage nursing and ancillary personnel within an assigned area or unit by coaching, educating, consulting, training, and evaluating their performance
• Plan, schedule, and organize the work of the assigned area or unit to ensure proper distribution of assignments and efficient utilization of clinical personnel, space, and facilities
• Assure compliance with productivity standards for assigned area/units
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities to enhance the delivery of clinical care

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• 5 years of RN experience
• 3 years in a research role
• 2 years in a supervisory role
• Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) within 1 year of hire date
• Valid Mississippi RN License
• Knowledge and understanding of nursing, research, and patient care standards and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• 5 years of RN experience, including 3 years in a research role and 2 years in a supervisory role
