The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Doubt Observation Unit (DOU) provides high-quality, individualized patient care by planning, directing, and coordinating nursing activities. This role utilizes the nursing process to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and provide high quality, individualized patient care
- Utilize components of the nursing process in patient care delivery
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN Training Program
- Current California RN license
- BLS from AHA
- ACLS from AHA
- NIHSS
- EKG
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN Training Program
- Minimum one-year recent experience in an acute care setting preferred
Nice to Have
- One-year recent experience in an acute care setting
