About This Role

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry, collaborating with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized and compassionate care. Advocate for patients and families, ensuring an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers
  • Ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipating patient needs
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to be obtained within 1 year of employment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) to be obtained within 30 days of employment
