ADP is seeking a Risk & Safety Consultant to provide loss control, workplace safety consultation, and OSHA compliance guidance to clients. The role involves evaluating client worksites for hazards, recommending improvements, and assisting with accident investigation and loss analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite safety consultation services to prospective clients and clients within a defined geographic territory
- Conduct client interviews and onsite hazard assessment surveys to determine hazards and exposures
- Evaluate the effectiveness of client controls for hazards and exposures
- Provide clients with guidance on OSHA compliance
- Create and provide written recommendations to clients for controlling workplace-related safety hazards and exposures
- Assist clients with the implementation of safety plans
- Develop, modify, and present safety awareness training at client facilities, including OSHA-mandated trainings
- Conduct live-web-based safety awareness training using WebEx tools
- Document results of all client interactions using eRFP or RAMS in accordance with Risk department guidelines
- Provide timely and proactive support to PEO sales District Managers by assisting the Client Acceptance department with prospective client underwriting by completing presurveys
Requirements
- 8+ years of practical loss control experience as Loss Control Representative working for an insurance carrier, other insurance-related business or Professional Employer Organization (PEO) or Administrative Service Offering (ASO)
- Appropriate job experience in an industrial setting as a safety professional
- Good knowledge of occupational safety and health
- Working knowledge of state and/or Federal OSHA compliance regulations
Qualifications
- 8+ years of practical loss control experience as a Loss Control Representative working for an insurance carrier, other insurance-related business, Professional Employer Organization (PEO) or Administrative Service Offering (ASO), or appropriate job experience in an industrial setting as a safety professional.

- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Risk Management, or Related Field
- Current Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Current Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Current Associate Risk Management (ARM)
- Current Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
