Support the design, development, and implementation of advanced multi-function RF systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions for national defense capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support development of RF hardware systems through the development lifecycle, from system requirements definition through to delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications
- Under guidance from senior staff, design and implement hardware designs and support assembly, integration, and testing
- Identify and select RF systems components (e.g., active and passive devices, antennas, connectors, cables, physical enclosures)
- Conduct supporting analyses to inform and justify decisions (e.g., RF link budgets)
- Support assembly, initial operation, and check out of system (including definition of test plans)
- Support tasking related to RF systems for airborne applications and other as needed
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Applicable knowledge of technical concepts related to RF systems design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis
- Experience in delivery of advanced development hardware
- Capable of effectively working in a team environment
- Experience in providing information for briefings and technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMS)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of applicable experience; Master’s degree. Equivalent experience will be considered
- 2+ years of applicable experience or equivalent, experience in delivery of advanced development hardware
Nice to Have
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
- Demonstrated experience in radar systems
- Demonstrated experience in electronic warfare
- Demonstrated experience in microwave engineering
- Demonstrated experience in analog and digital signal processing
- Demonstrated experience in embedded software development
- Demonstrated experience in physics modeling and simulation
