Manage cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class RF, Microwave, and mmW integrated solutions for aerospace and defense applications. This role requires a hands-on contributor with expert knowledge in RF design and experience leading projects from specification to production.
Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class RF, Microwave and mmW integrated solutions (IMAs)
- Manage high-performance RF teams, drive customer presentations and technology roadmap
- Perform end-to-end systems analysis, model and simulate circuit or system performance using analytical tools
- Conduct detailed analysis and design of RF and mixed-signal communications hardware components
- Perform filter modeling, analysis, and design
- Lead system integration, test, and development of RF/millimeter-wave communications hardware for spaceflight
- Investigate and evaluate new communications technologies for spaceflight applications
- Function as technical interface for customers and attend technical meetings as required
- Work closely with Business development, Supply chain, Production and other support groups
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in microwave/millimeter-wave design theory component design
- Experience with high reliability hardware from conceptual design through flight delivery
- Experience with microwave modeling tools (Gensys, ADS, AWR, Ansoft HFSS, Ansoft Designer, Ansoft Maxwell, Matlab, or AutoCAD equivalent)
- Knowledge of complex communication systems theory
- Knowledge of systems architecture, RF architecture, RF/Microwave circuit design
- Detailed knowledge of RF and mixed-signal design techniques and technologies
- Exposure to defense application including responsibility for technical proposals, prototype to production, performance, customer presentations, schedule, and cost requirements
- Expert knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of assigned product or program
Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering. Masters or PhD degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in microwave/millimeter-wave design theory component design; 2+ years Supervisory experience desired.

- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of Millimeter wave Radio systems design
- Knowledge of synthesizer design, mixers, amplifiers, PLLs, low phase noise VCOs, filters (DC > 40Ghz)
- Magnetic circuit analysis experience
