The Retail Scan Associate visits designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes for data collection. This data helps improve product and retailer sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Visit designated selection of stores each week
- Scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps
- Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes
- Provide quantity for approximately 45% of scanned products
- Complete Display Scanning on the entire store weekly
- Perform Custom Projects as requested by clients, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store
- Adhere to weekly deadlines for data delivery
Requirements
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
- Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to reach 6 feet in the air
- Ability to bend, stretch, stoop, and stand
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Deadline-driven self-starter
- Access to reliable Wi-Fi
- Tech savvy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
