Retail Project Manager

About This Role

Lead complex, high-value technical initiatives within a retail environment, requiring hands-on project management experience in retail systems. This role involves managing financials, risks, dependencies, and delivery execution across multiple applications and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead retail-focused technical projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring successful execution across systems, applications, and stakeholders
• Manage high-dollar project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting
• Partner closely with technical teams to drive technology delivery, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met
• Identify, assess, and actively manage project risks, developing mitigation plans and escalation strategies as needed
• Oversee application dependencies, integrations, and cross-system impacts within the retail technology ecosystem
• Manage and monitor defect management processes, ensuring issues are tracked, prioritized, and resolved efficiently
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, plans, and reporting within enterprise tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including IT, product, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency

Requirements

• Proven Retail Technical Project Management experience (hands-on, delivery-focused — not checklist or coordination-only PM work)
• Strong experience using Jira for project and delivery tracking
• Experience with X-Ray for test management and defect tracking
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow for incident, change, or workflow management
• Demonstrated Financial Management experience, managing large project budgets and financial controls
• Solid understanding of risk management, including identification, mitigation, and escalation

Qualifications

• Proven Retail Technical Project Management experience (hands-on, delivery-focused)

• Experience using additional project management or delivery tools in complex enterprise environments
