Retail Merchandise Specialist

About This Role

As a Retail Merchandising Specialist, you will bring fashion to life at the store level by styling and organizing apparel to reflect brand identity. This role involves executing merchandising strategies and optimizing product placement to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using the Winston App on a smart device
• Style mannequins and displays to create a polished, trend-forward shopping experience

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Strong time management and accountability
• Smartphone for reporting (iPhone 11 or newer, or Android 2020 or newer)
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives
• Keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred
