This role is responsible for ensuring outstanding guest service, processing sales transactions accurately, and maintaining store standards and loss prevention. The Cashier will also assist with merchandising and inventory tasks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure outstanding Guest Service by greeting and acknowledging every Guest and maintaining high standards
- Maintain awareness of all product knowledge, merchandise promotions, and advertisements
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention
- Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers
- Communicate Guest requests to management
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, write, and count accurately in English
- Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, squat
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Willingness to live in a remote, rural community
- Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to/from a remote setting
- Able to walk/drive on gravel roads in inclement weather
