Restorative CNA

About This Role

This role is for a Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Providence Living Center in Topeka, KS. You will provide total care for residents, assist with daily living activities, and contribute to a dynamic clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care and catheter care
• Perform care as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card
• Visit with residents and reposition as required
• Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight
• Conduct range of motion as needed
• Observe and report any change in resident condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPPA requirements and facility policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues

Requirements

• Completed a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations
• Desire to work with the elderly

Qualifications

• Entry level with preferred experience in geriatric nursing facilities

Nice to Have

• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility
