About This Role

Provide respite care for a young autistic child, assisting with morning routines and school transportation, and managing behaviors. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support a child in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist a young autistic child in getting ready in the morning
  • Transport the child to school
  • Handle and redirect unplanned behaviors as needed
  • Provide evening respite hours as available

Requirements

  • Dependable early riser
  • Calm but firm demeanor
  • Ability to handle unplanned behaviors and redirect
  • Experience working or caring for Autistic children
  • Driver's license

Qualifications

  • Experience working or caring for Autistic children required
