Residential Superintendent

About This Role

The Residential Superintendent will manage and oversee all aspects of luxury custom home construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects adhere to safety standards, quality, and timelines while managing trade contractors and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and improve business infrastructure and operations to enhance efficiency, particularly in on-site production.
• Oversee procedures and processes for efficiency and implement recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee projects to ensure work aligns with specifications and project timetables.
• Coordinate day-to-day trade contractor scheduling and supervise field production.
• Assist team with project planning and scheduling.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to identify and solve problems.
• Oversee quality control, ensuring all work meets company standards.
• Read and comprehend plans, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
• Perform miscellaneous hands-on tasks across most trades to support project schedule or budget.
• Confirm the accuracy of completed work and ensure all deficiencies are corrected.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of residential building experience
• In-depth understanding of the company and its industry position
• Ability to work and produce in a high-pressure custom home building industry
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
• Ability to work at job sites throughout Northern Virginia
