This role involves providing transportation services for clients in the Residential Recovery Program to medical and mental health appointments, ensuring a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Transport clients to medical appointments as needed in the community
- Assure availability of materials and supplies and ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
- Document each request for transportation on the Transportation Record Form in the client’s Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Excellent verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Valid Driver’s License and insurability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to understand and relate to the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to read, write and converse in English
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
- Successful completion of a background screening
- Successful completion of a TB skin test or proof of a negative chest x-ray
