Resident Care Partner

About This Role

Provide direct personal care and supervision to residents in accordance with their individualized Service Plans at a luxury senior living community.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide resident care
• Respond to resident calls promptly
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members, communicating changes in resident care to management
• Assist with resident outings and community events
• Help provide necessary assistance to ensure the highest quality of resident life, maintaining confidentiality and honoring resident rights
• Offer choices, maintain and promote dignity and individuality to enhance resident satisfaction
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and lead programming as assigned
• Work with housekeepers, maintenance staff, and dining services to ensure a clean community and met resident needs
• Follow safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting, infection control, and fire safety
• Assist and serve residents at mealtime
• Support residents in daily household tasks, ensuring apartments are neat and safe, and respond quickly to alerts
• Conduct wellness checks according to service plan and as needed, minimum every one hour

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• At least one-year experience working with seniors

Qualifications
