This role involves assisting residents in memory care apartments with daily activities and personal care, promoting independence and dignity, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The Resident Care Assistant will support older adults experiencing memory impairment within the Hearten House communities.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal cares and daily activities while helping them maintain independence and dignity
- Administer medication
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Provide dressing, bathing, and bathroom assistance
- Transport residents to meals and activities
- Document daily care provided to residents
- Communicate and interact with residents, their families, and other departments to ensure resident safety and well-being
Nice to Have
- Previous direct care experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant training and/or experience (any State)
- CBRF Certification
