Provide direct support to residents in an assisted living community, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their safety and well-being during overnight shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining personal environment
- Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
- Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
- Review and adhere to resident care plans
- Obtain vital signs
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Meet all state educational requirements for the position
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- CPR certification
- Experience working with an elderly population
