Reset Merchandiser

About This Role

The Reset Merchandiser will execute plan-o-gram work in grocery store environments, repositioning shelving and placing products according to updated schematics to ensure proper merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand plan-o-grams
• Collect plan-o-grams, new item tags, and new item product
• Prepare work area to complete section reset
• Break down sections in an orderly manner to allow customer access
• Re-position shelving and place product according to updated schematic
• Clean up work area
• Complete forms and report section completion to Kroger and immediate supervisors
• Maintain good relationship with store management team and staff
• Comply with KOMPASS employee guidelines
• Practice safe lifting

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read and understand plan-o-grams
• Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English
• Smartphone with internet/data access
• Ability to install and utilize an app on smartphone (may require location services, camera, photo gallery access)
• Personal tape measure
• Safety gloves
• Ability to remain standing for several hours
• Ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to continuously reach up and bend down, kneel, squat, reach in all directions
• Unlimited upper and lower body mobility
• Ability to lift and extend 30 lbs. above the head, sometimes repeatedly
• Unlimited manual dexterity
• Tolerance to exposure to extreme temperatures (0-90 degrees)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Retail store experience desired
