About This Role

Serve as a Relationship Manager for Strategic Portfolios, driving engagement with corporate partners to achieve net-positive impact in supply chains. Develop and implement sales strategies using a consultative selling approach at the executive level.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Strategic Corporate Engagement and Partnerships Lead in strategic account portfolio management and development, corporate consortiums & alliances management, and corporate global project management
  • Manage a high-value portfolio of strategic accounts, including developing strategic account plans utilizing Rainforest Alliance’s integrated value proposition
  • Support Regional Leads and Relationship Managers in developing strategic account plans to build relationships with decision-makers and influencers to grow impact
  • Manage the long-term strategic partnership development process and deployment for high-value partners
  • Shape and present Rainforest Alliance’s unified value proposition and storytelling for complex product and services solutions
  • Negotiate contractual terms and close deals, collaborating with legal and compliance teams
  • Ensure quality service and organizational growth for strategic accounts
  • Manage and build multi-stakeholder strategic engagement and initiatives involving multiple corporations under the global portfolio
  • Support the prospecting, co-design, and incubation of corporate project development, ensuring quality and integrated design
  • Liaise with support functions (finance, GIC, legal) for smooth proposal development and approval processes for corporate projects
  • Collaborate with other departments (global programs, products, technology, finance, legal, marketing & comms) and leadership to best serve accounts, corporate consortiums, and projects
  • Track implementation of offerings to customers to ensure needs are met and use feedback for continuous improvement of account management program and internal processes
  • Establish performance metrics and regularly measure progress, using feedback for continuous program improvement
  • Work with Revenue Operations to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts for the account portfolio

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business administration, economy, or relevant international development discipline
  • 7+ years experience in complex B2B sales at senior level, relationship building, corporate affairs, or marketing
  • Consistent track record in developing and leading go-to-market strategies that generate revenue and profitability
  • Experience in project management and proposal development
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of achieving results through influencing without authority
  • Extensive knowledge of the corporate ESG investment space
  • Knowledge and understanding of voluntary certification programs
  • Deep knowledge in at least one key crop (Coffee, Cocoa, Tea, Bananas)
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English
  • Ability to travel

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration, economy, or another relevant international development discipline
  • At least 7 years of experience with complex sales in B2B environment at senior level, relationship building, corporate affairs or marketing

Nice to Have

  • Proven track record of authority in specific crop subject matter (published articles, speaking at events)
