Registered Nurse - Telemetry

About This Role

Actively hiring for Registered Nurses with Telemetry experience in Red Bank, NJ to monitor cardiac rhythms, administer essential treatments, and educate patients on heart health, ensuring high-quality cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and other critical vital signs, interpreting data to identify any signs of distress or abnormal patterns
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary, with a focus on patient's cardiac status
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for heart health, treatment plans, and any relevant home care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient's condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital and departmental policies

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and other cardiac monitoring techniques
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting
• Experience in COVID, Cardiac drips, Cardiac monitor, Cardioversion, Defibrillation, Device experience, EKG monitoring, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls
