About This Role

The Registered Nurse provides direct care to individuals with substance use disorders at The Ridge Recovery Center, a new state-of-the-art treatment facility. This role involves assessing client conditions, administering medications, managing withdrawal symptoms, and educating clients on their health, wellness, and recovery.

Responsibilities

Assess client conditions
Administer medications
Manage withdrawal symptoms
Provide direct nursing care to clients with substance use disorders
Educate clients on health, wellness, and recovery

Requirements

Valid CT RN license

Qualifications

Minimum of Associate's degree in nursing
Minimum of one year nursing experience in Psychiatric or Substance Abuse Treatment preferred; experience as CNA/Mental Health Worker desirable for new grads

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in nursing
Accredited certification in Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing (or actively pursuing)
Minimum of one year nursing experience in Psychiatric or Substance Abuse Treatment
Experience as a CNA, Mental Health Worker, or other related field for newly graduated nurses
