Registered Nurse RN - Float Pool

About This Role

Provide high-quality patient care across various departments, adapting to different clinical environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in diverse settings, including Medical-Surgical, Emergency Department, ICU, Family Birth Center, and more
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on patients' individual needs and established protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and respond to emergencies promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff and assist with training new team members
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards in all clinical environments
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable with relevant experience
• 1-2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
