Join our team as an After-Hours Hospice Registered Nurse, where you will provide compassionate care to patients and families during evenings and weekends. This role focuses on being a patient advocate, communicating with care teams and families, and ensuring quality care for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a voice for patients
- Communicate with patients, families, and the hospice care team regarding the plan of care
- Serve as a patient advocate to ensure quality care
- Cover on-call after-hours from Friday evening (5pm) to Monday morning (8am)
Requirements
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently
- Ability to lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
- Passion for providing the best possible care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting
