Registered Nurse - ACT

About This Role

This Registered Nurse position provides direct mental health services to clients with severely persistent mental illness within the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. The role focuses on rehabilitative services to reduce symptoms and restore high levels of functioning, while collaborating with the ACT team.

Responsibilities

• Provide assertive community treatment services in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Document client and program activities.
• Provide emergency first aid to clients.
• Act as a liaison between physician and other caregivers.
• Obtain health assessments for new clients.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing
• At least one-year clinical experience in a hospital setting
• Current RN license from the State of Ohio
• Knowledge of mental illnesses, substance abuse issues, and the recovery process
• Ability to assume call on a rotating basis
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least one-year clinical experience in a hospital setting.
