About This Role

This Regional Marketing Manager role will be a field-based position responsible for developing and optimizing national and regional marketing initiatives for immunology within a specific geography. The role focuses on collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with external experts to drive marketing strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects compliantly and effectively through the promotional review process to deliver high-quality work in a timely fashion
  • Manage strategy, execution and budgeting for national and regional conventions, External Expert consulting, advisory boards, and commercial peer-to-peer education programming
  • Continually apply knowledge and evaluate the effectiveness of key marketing tactics, making strategic recommendations to leadership on opportunities for brand optimization
  • Provide in-depth insights based on the brand's key business questions to input on marketing strategy, resource optimization and tactic development that drives brand performance
  • Lead partnerships with field leadership in assigned geography to optimize pull-through of marketing strategies
  • Understand a geographical area's market drivers, competitive landscape, provider dynamics and competitive intelligence across the assigned geography
  • Coordinate the direction and deliverables of multiple external vendors and internal departments
  • Identify, build, and strengthen commercial relationships with External Experts, emerging leaders, and relevant patient and professional associations within assigned geography
  • Develop regional engagement plans for External Experts and ensure consistent tactical execution throughout the year to drive key marketing engagement
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of external and internal drivers across multiple external stakeholder groups and appropriately connect AbbVie's Integrated Brand Teams on opportunities for collaboration

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Previous experience in sales, sales management, or marketing
  • Mastery of verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills, live and virtual
  • Experience working in a collaborative working environment with integrated, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to navigate a field and headquarter based matrix organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in Immunology (preferred), previous experience in sales, sales management, or marketing.

Nice to Have

  • At least 2 years of experience in Immunology
  • Previous Gastroenterology experience
