This role involves recruiting and placing qualified drivers for XPress Cargo, Inc. by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating with internal teams. The specialist will help build driver teams and ensure compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Source qualified candidates for driver positions
- Conduct interviews for potential drivers
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of potential drivers
- Coordinate with internal teams to determine hiring needs
- Onboard new drivers
- Ensure seamless integration of drivers into operations
- Maintain compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate records to support recruitment efforts and operational success
Requirements
- Bilingual with English and Spanish or English and Filipino languages
- Recruitment and talent acquisition skills, including sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and other digital tools
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in recruitment within the transportation or logistics industry
- Experience Recruiting for Truck Drivers or trucking experience (DM, Dispatcher, Safety)
