The Recovery Specialist SUD assists clients with daily living activities, monitors behavior, and supports therapeutic recreation. This role involves administrative tasks, ensuring facility safety, and providing program support for staff and residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist clinical staff in monitoring client medication compliance and health care needs.
- Facilitate group activities and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist clients in developing life skills such as medication management, cooking, money management, and securing housing or entitlements.
- Assist in census management, admissions, and discharges.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
- Experience working with the criminal justice system and the Department of Child Services
