Receiving Specialist

About This Role

The Receiving Specialist at Tommy Car Wash Systems is responsible for accurately receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders, with a heavy emphasis on LTL, FTL, and customer return shipments, while adhering to safety regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive LTL, FTL, and customer return shipments, then parcel deliveries
• Communicate and coordinate with Purchasing regarding packing slip discrepancies
• Coordinate inbound shipments with Logistics Coordination Lead and Production Lead
• Consolidate pallet racking/bins to create space for inbound equipment
• Band, pallet, and shrink wrap inbound equipment as needed
• Work with the pick/pack/ship team on item receipts for sales orders
• Organize the warehouse, identifying and implementing new storage methods and space allocation based on stock levels
• Assemble carwash equipment when necessary
• Assist the warehouse team with other tasks if shipping and receiving duties are complete
• Accurately receive RMAs, working closely with the RMA/RGA specialist to handle all related processes
• Utilize Hilo for 80% of inbound freight shipments

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Excel, Bill Of Ladings)
• 1 year of forklift experience
• Ability to stand for 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to walk quickly and work with urgency and accuracy
• Self-motivated and critical thinker
• Material handling experience
• Enjoy fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of forklift experience required

Nice to Have

• Inventory control systems experience
