Receiving Associate

About This Role

The Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately processing and receiving delivered items into the inventory system, ensuring the correct count and condition of all products. This role ensures efficient operation of the warehouse and adherence to established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive products into the inventory system, ensuring accuracy of items
• Inspect the count and condition of items according to established procedures and policies
• Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned by the area supervisor

Requirements

• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to work efficiently and productively with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers
• Ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift
• Ability to routinely bend, crouch, lift, and carry products up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to visually identify products by name in English
• Ability to accurately count quantities using basic math skills
• Regular use of general warehouse tools and equipment, including ladders, pallet jacks, inventory scanners, tape guns, brooms

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience with inventory management
• Strong attention to detail
