Provide diagnostic radiologic services in a hospital or clinical setting, performing routine and emergent procedures under direct supervision, and assisting with EKG duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic procedures in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Perform routine, emergent, portable, surgical and fluoroscopic examinations under direct supervision of licensed/registered Radiologic Technologist
- Assist with patient and transportation staff
- Perform EKGs, file room work, film processing, reception duties, operate computer, restock supplies, and maintain clean work area
- Communicate all necessary information to other members of the healthcare team
- Participate in on-call or standby schedule as required
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in AMA approved program curriculum to include ARRT certification and state licensure
- Experience must be no more than three (3) years prior to the date of application for position
- Daily use of diagnostic Radiology equipment
- Daily use of computer and telephones
- Daily user of film processor and multi-format/laser camera
- Daily use of diagnostic aides
- Prior work experience in health care environment
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in AMA approved program curriculum to include ARRT certification and state licensure.
