Quantitative Finance Analyst

About This Role

This Quantitative Finance Analyst role involves valuing option and derivative securities using advanced modeling techniques and providing customer support for financial software, interacting with financial officers and independent auditors.

Responsibilities

• Value option and derivative securities using advanced modeling techniques contained in FinTools® software
• Provide customer support for Option Tracker software application
• Integrate employee stock option administration, ASC 718 valuation and SEC financial reporting
• Interact with financial officers of publicly traded companies, valuation consultants and independent auditors regarding fair value accounting standards and risk management techniques
• Build and expand client relationships through high quality servicing
• Handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines

Requirements

• Undergraduate or Masters degree in Finance, Mathematics and/or Economics
• Knowledge of financial markets, options and investment research
• Experience and training as an analyst
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and analytical software
• Demonstrated communication and leadership qualities
• Strong math and analytical aptitude
• Demonstrated written communication skills
• Organization and time management efficiency
• Aptitude to learn complex concepts including the valuation of option contracts
• Experience designing Excel financial analysis templates and reports
• Effective use of technology for presentations and account servicing

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Masters degree in Finance, Mathematics and/or Economics
• Experience and training as an analyst
