This Quality Control Engineer role monitors and tests product quality, ensures compliance with standards, identifies issues, and recommends solutions within an automotive manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer corrective/preventative actions both internally and externally
- Develop process parameters
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) on the shop floor
- Utilize Lean methods
- Interpret basic blueprints and GD&T
- Apply problem-solving techniques and skills
- Complete and implement 8D corrective actions
Requirements
- 4-7 years’ experience in a Quality Control Engineer role
- Experience and knowledge in an Automotive IATF 16949 system
- Statistical Process Control implementation and utilization
- Root cause analysis/Problem solving techniques
- PFMEA, Control plans, Capability studies
- Basic blueprint reading/interpretation, GD&T
- Firm understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- 4-7 years’ experience in a Quality Control Engineer role
