This role involves performing multiple quality tests on materials, analyzing statistical data, and reporting findings to management. It also requires maintaining and developing an ISO system and investigating returned bearings.
Responsibilities
- Set up and perform multiple quality tests
- Accurately compile, analyze, and report statistical data
- Prepare reports on testing results
- Define problems and report all issues with material to management for analysis and disposition
- Calibrate test and measuring equipment, working with outside vendors for calibration and purchasing
- Analyze bearings returned from customer/field, measure various physical properties and characteristics, and document investigations in technical reports
- Develop, implement, and maintain an ISO9001-2015 system
- Write, update, and maintain SOP files
Requirements
- Minimum of a Technical Diploma or Associate's Degree in a related field
- 2 to 4 years of position-related experience
- ISO9001-2015 experience
