Python Software Engineer

About This Role

This Python Software Engineer will contribute to web application design and development, engaging daily with clients to plan and implement applications. The role emphasizes full participation in the development process while fostering learning and growth.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Solid base-level understanding of basic algorithms and data structures
• In-depth proficiency in one or more programming languages

Qualifications

• A college degree in computer science or related field is preferred, but not required.
• Entry-level position.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python
• Ability to run and maintain at least one common web application stack (e.g., LAMP)
• Background working with relational databases (SQL)
• Demonstrable experience with Python (Django), Vue, Postgres, and AWS
• Experience maintaining infrastructure hosted by Amazon Web Services or similar cloud provider
• Experience working with common front-end frameworks (ReactJS, VueJS, Angular, etc.) or back-end frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Express in Node.js, Django in Python, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD solutions
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with design
• Experience with browser compatibility
• Demonstration of strong technical proficiency
• Breadth of knowledge
• Ability to learn quickly
• Strong desire to grow as a developer
