Perform semi-skilled labor related to the maintenance of water lines, sanitary sewer systems, streets, and storm drains. Execute routine and unique maintenance on equipment, infrastructure, and facilities to ensure longevity and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Perform street maintenance activities with minimal supervision in the field
- Clean storm drains and drainage ditches
- Perform semi-skilled related work on water and sewer lines and associated equipment
- Read water meters
- Activate and terminate water supply in residential domains
- Assist in the removal of snow and ice on City streets
- Operate small and heavy equipment
- Perform general repairs and routine maintenance on City buildings and facilities
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Ability to acquire State of Missouri Class A CDL within first 6 months of employment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Nice to Have
- General facilities maintenance knowledge
- Two (2) years experience in related field or associates degree in related field
- Pertinent water and sanitary certifications
