Public Space Attendant

About This Role

The Public Space Attendant is responsible for ensuring all areas of the hotel are cleaned to specified standards, contributing to high levels of guest satisfaction. This role involves maintaining a clean and orderly environment throughout the hotel's public spaces.

Responsibilities

• Empty all trash receptacles and ashtrays in corridors and public areas
• Clean all outside area walkways; sweep stairways and landings; clean railings and wash all EXIT doors
• Wash windows as per schedule
• Clean elevators, tracks, chrome, and stainless steel
• Spot-clean walls and doors
• Wipe baseboards, railings, phones, walls, and vending areas
• Vacuum all public area rugs and public space corridors and shampoo carpets
• Polish/clean lobby floor as per schedule
• Check lobby area and public restrooms frequently for cleanliness and replenish especially when functions are being held
• Clean public restrooms
• Clean lobby

Requirements

• Ability to walk and stand for an entire shift
• Ability to perform light physical labor: Lifting, Reaching, Bending, Stretching, and Handling

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred
