This role involves providing classroom and lab instruction in the Hospitality Management program at the college, including curriculum development and student performance tracking.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and participate in instruction for the Hospitality Management program
- Develop supplemental materials and tests for the program
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for the Hospitality Management program
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures
- Assess and monitor workload, administrative and support systems, and internal reporting relationships
- Develop and draft materials necessary for instruction with program director's approval
- Assess material, supply, and equipment needs for the Hospitality Management program
- Participate in academic program efforts to recruit and retain students
- Work with industry partners and faculty to ensure programs teach up-to-date techniques and industry trends
Requirements
- AAS degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Two years of relevant experience in Hospitality Management
Qualifications
- AAS degree in Hospitality Management or related field from an accredited college or university
- Two years of relevant experience in Hospitality Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
