PT Instructor, Hospitality Management

About This Role

This role involves providing classroom and lab instruction in the Hospitality Management program at the college, including curriculum development and student performance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and participate in instruction for the Hospitality Management program
• Develop supplemental materials and tests for the program
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
• Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for the Hospitality Management program
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures
• Assess and monitor workload, administrative and support systems, and internal reporting relationships
• Develop and draft materials necessary for instruction with program director's approval
• Assess material, supply, and equipment needs for the Hospitality Management program
• Participate in academic program efforts to recruit and retain students
• Work with industry partners and faculty to ensure programs teach up-to-date techniques and industry trends

Requirements

• AAS degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Two years of relevant experience in Hospitality Management

Qualifications

• AAS degree in Hospitality Management or related field from an accredited college or university
• Two years of relevant experience in Hospitality Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
