Conduct psychology and human behavior research to directly inform product decisions at a company building products at the intersection of human behavior, data, and technology. This hands-on role involves owning the research pipeline from hypothesis to insight.
Responsibilities
- Define research questions and hypotheses grounded in psychological theory
- Design studies including surveys, experiments, interviews, diary studies, and A/B tests (quant + qual)
- Build and validate measurement frameworks using scales, psychometrics, and behavioral metrics
- Analyze research results and translate them into clear product recommendations
- Collaborate with product and data teams to incorporate findings into product iterations
- Produce research outputs such as internal briefs, frameworks, and publishable insights
Requirements
- PhD/MSC/BA in Psychology / Behavioral Science / Neuroscience / Cognitive Science (or close equivalent)
- Strong research methods: experimental design, causal thinking, statistics
- Comfort with data analysis (e.g., R / Python / SPSS / JASP)
- Ability to communicate complex ideas simply through writing and storytelling with evidence
Qualifications
- PhD/MSC/BA in Psychology / Behavioral Science / Neuroscience / Cognitive Science (or close equivalent)
Nice to Have
- Psychometrics (scale development, validation, reliability, factor analysis)
- Experience translating research into product strategy
- Background in behavior change, motivation, decision-making, or affective science
