About This Role

Provide psychiatric care to individuals, including evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent consultations. This role focuses on high-quality, client-centered care for adult and geriatric populations within a quickly growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric care, including evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent and emergent consultations to individuals with mental health needs
  • Deliver high-quality, client-centered care
  • Document and navigate EHR independently
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality
  • Participate in the creation of an individualized treatment plan after discussing the case with the mental health care team
  • Evaluate patients for the need for a higher level of care, including hospitalization
  • Provide patient education, specifically around issues related to medications and treatment adherence, and aftercare service
  • Work closely with Supervising physician to ensure improved patient outcomes and high-quality care

Requirements

  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certified
  • Licensed to practice
  • Experience working with adult/ geriatric populations
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP) certification
  • Current license in the State of Washington
  • Current DEA registration for prescription writing
  • Current DPS registration for prescription writing

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited educational institution
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with adult/ geriatric populations

Certifications

Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP) certification (Required)
