This role involves performing systems engineering functions and coordinating with customers and project teams to develop and specify system requirements for a proposal effort located on a customer site in Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering functions
- Define and document concept of operations
- Define operational/system requirements and use cases to support system development
- Perform high-level system design
- Specify system/component performance and interface requirements
- Develop installation, integration, and acceptance test plans
- Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products
- Coordinate with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements
- Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET program/college
- Full Poly security clearance
- Experience in engineering over their lifecycle (conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET program/college
- 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering over their lifecycle (conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning)
