Promotions Assistant

About This Role

The Promotions Assistant supports Audacy's music stations by executing on-site promotional activities, engaging with audiences, and maintaining a positive brand image.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned on-site appearances (remotes), promotional activities and special projects; assist in all aspects of on-site appearances including vehicles and equipment (setup/breakdown), prizes/giveaways, signage
• Assist promotions and sales staff with station promotional activity inside and outside the station
• Execute on-location station/client activations and promotions to increase audience interaction and engagement
• Serve as a Brand Ambassador during appearances: taking brand-focused photos, posting on social media platforms, interacting with guests, and assisting talent
• Distribute station and client promotional items in accordance with terms set by Audacy Management
• Promote a positive station image at all times
• Act as liaison between programming and sales in the management of client expectations for appearances
• Occasionally execute contesting, website updates, and contest winner communications while the Promotions Director is away

Requirements

• Positive attitude
• Ability to work various hours including nights and weekends
• First-rate organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to lift and carry equipment
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task, but take direction well
• Experience using Google Workspace and social media platforms
• Valid driver’s license
• Satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check
• Proof of insurance (if using own vehicle for position)

Nice to Have

• Valid commercial driver’s license
