Project Sales Manager

About This Role

This sales position serves as a single point of contact for all customer interactions once the order has been secured for metal roofing and siding products. Key responsibilities include entering material cutlists, managing accounts receivable, and coordinating final delivery with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer requests for quotes, orders, and credits for assigned customers
• Conduct quality reviews of customer provided cut lists for discrepancies and provide appropriate communication
• Responsible for positive freight collection for assigned customers
• Assist customers with all questions concerning orders, invoices, and their account
• Manage the account receivables for assigned customers, following up on missing payments and setting plans for past due accounts
• Regularly facilitate CODs for deliveries
• Work with assigned customers to understand upcoming forecast for projects and align with manufacturing and material availability
• Communicate regularly with customers concerning project updates, delivery schedule confirmations, and backorder notifications
• Monitor contract deliveries and provide appropriate communication to all required parties when changes are made
• Escalate customer quality and satisfaction issues to resolve with urgency

Requirements

• Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred or equivalent work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
